This illustrated talk will include discussion on shadow puppetry, parlour décor, women's crafting practices, pre-photographic portraiture and how contemporary artists continue to engage this practice.
Dr. Warne is a volunteer and long-time supporter of Dalnavert and recently gave a talk and demonstration on Corsets with Dr. Sabrina Mark. She is a public speaker, and regular book reviewer for The Winnipeg Free Press.
