Starting Friday, March 5th, Dalnavert Museum will reopen
We're delighted to announce that Dalnavert Museum and Visitors' Centre will reopen to the public on Friday March 5, 2021 following the Government of Manitoba's loosening of public health order restrictions.
In order to ensure the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers we will open for tours on a reduced schedule of Friday-Sunday from 12.00-4.00pm.
We are also implementing the following protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all:
Dalnavert will operate at a 25% capacity limit as required by current public health orders.
Guided tours of the museum will be capped at a maximum of five people and will take place hourly to reduce the overlap of groups. We encourage pre-booking of tours to avoid disappointment (we are currently revamping our booking engine so please email info@dalnavertmuseum.ca in the meantime to secure your tour).
Masks that cover the mouth and nose are required to be worn at all times. *For guests who require a medical exemption from mask wearing please notify us ahead of your visit and we will make accommodations for you.
Physical distancing of at least two meters, except for brief exchanges, is required.
Contact tracing information for each individual or household cohort will be collected as required by current public health orders.
Hand sanitizer, hand washing facilities and other PPE will be available to all visitors.
We strongly encourage contactless payment over cash.
