Linda McDowell, who delivered a talk on "Mothers and Others" of the women's suffrage movement last May, is back with this lecture on many strong and adventurous women in our province's past who broke the rules and became early lawyers, doctors, business women, political leaders, newspaper editors, and more! 

2018 is shaping up to be a great time to remind people of all of these women. From  Indigenous woman Thanadelthuur, Charlotte Small Thompson and Annie Bannatyne to the Grey Nuns, Linda will also dive into the lives of Mary Jones, Mary Dyma, Rose Cherniak Alcin, Linda Ballantyne, Inez Stevenson and much more.
