*POSTPONED* Drumming at Dalnavert

UPDATE: Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in the City of Winnipeg, we will be postponing this event. Stay tuned in November for a rescheduled date with options for virtual access!

Part of a series of "Cultural Teachings and Activities with Elders"

Join us for a Drumming workshop with Traditional Drum Carrier Lawrence Spence and Elders in residence Barb and Clarence Nepinak. Songs, Oral History and Teachings will be shared outside on the grounds of Dalnavert Museum on Treaty 1 land near the Assiniboine River. Hand drums to use will be provided and must be returned, if participants want to bring their own drums that is acceptable. This is a free event. All are welcome but pre-registration is required. Click the LINK to register.

October 24, 2020 1 pm & 2 pm

Participant size: 10 per session

If it rains, we will move inside to our visitors’ centre. Masks are mandatory and distancing will occur both indoors and outdoors. If the public health situation changes, all event changes will be communicated with attendees.
