This talk and corset demo will usher in the very first Elizabeth Alloway “Derry Days at Dalnavert” Tea on June 13th in person and outside at Dalnavert Museum. Listen to an illustrated talk exploring the controversial history of the corset, a celebrated but also much maligned garment. Join us to learn more about whalebone, waspish waists, and the foundations of what Victorians wore.
