Elizabeth Alloway Lecture Series: Canine Teeth: Rabies at the Species Border of Victorian Literature with Vivi Dabee

Join us on Zoom on Sunday, April 18th for a lecture on Rabies and Victorian Literature with Vivi Dabee.

Vivi Dabee is a lover of literature in its many forms and has an M.A in English from the University of Manitoba. Her fascination with horse-drawn carriages, top hats, bustles, and etiquette led to an academic pursuit of Victorian culture, with a special interest in critical animal studies. When she is not snuggled up with a good book, Vivi enjoys exploring all that Winnipeg has to offer with her family, friends and guide-dog companion.

This lecture is one of nine in the 2021 Elizabeth Alloway Lecture Series, presented in partnership with The Winnipeg Foundation
