In this talk, Susan Moffatt will discuss the lives of two creative and innovative women artists who have left an indelible mark on art history.
Maud Lewis from Nova Scotia was often overlooked as an artist but is now widely known and her art is sought after. Mary Delany was an Irish/British artist who began accurately illustrating botanicals out of tissue paper at the age of 70.
Hear about their fascinating lives and passion in person, including a viewing of 2 works by Maud Lewis from a private collection, at Dalnavert Museum.
