Looking to get a tour of the house with a Halloween twist? On October 3-5, 10-12 and October 17-20, 24-27 explore Death at Dalnavert! On your tour learn about the history of the mansion, and Victorian superstitious culture and keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary…
On October 6th and October 19th, add a ghost or many ghosts to an old painting at our Ghost Painting event.
Free admission and family programming for a spooky edition of our Second Saturdays! On October 12th explore the house at your own pace with a self-guided tour, and get into the Halloween spirit with a craft and a game guaranteed to scare!
On October 19 and 26, join us for Haunted Halloween Tea Parties; these spooky kid’s tea parties will feature Halloween-themed snacks, crafts, activities and more!
Learn about Victorian-era dolls, and why today they are considered so frightening, with a lecture by our collections registrar Inés Bonacossa on October 20th entitled The Language of Dalnavert: Are You Afraid of Dolls?
